As Korkmaz Mekatronik, we respect and prioritize the confidentiality of personal life. Therefore, we would like to inform you about your rights regarding the use and protection of your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as “KVKK”).

a) Data Controller

As Korkmaz Mekatronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., we inform you that your personal data is being processed as a data controller under KVKK and other relevant legislation.

b) Personal Data Processed

In accordance with KVKK and related legislation, the following categories of personal data may be processed for the purposes and legal bases set out in this clarification text:

  • IP Address: The internet protocol address used when visitors access our website.

  • Browser Information: The web browser and its technical details used to visit our website.

c) Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • To analyze visits to our website and generate statistical information through third-party service providers.

This processing is carried out based on the legal grounds specified in Article 5(2) of KVKK:

  • It is clearly stipulated in laws.

  • It is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract.

  • It is necessary for the fulfillment of the legal obligation of the data controller.

  • It is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right.

Additionally, your personal data may be processed with your explicit consent in order to inform you about campaigns and updates related to Korkmaz Mekatronik services in accordance with KVKK and the Electronic Commerce Law.

d) Recipients and Purpose of Data Transfer

Your personal data may be transferred without your explicit consent in accordance with Article 8(2)(a) of KVKK for the following purposes:

  • Shared with the General Directorate of Security to fulfill our legal obligations.

  • Shared with notaries, enforcement offices, and/or courts for financial and legal proceedings, such as fee collection.

  • Shared with relevant public institutions and organizations upon request and when legally required.

  • Shared with our legal representatives in order to follow legal procedures, under confidentiality obligations.

e) Method and Legal Grounds of Data Collection

Your personal data is collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through automatic or non-automatic methods based on the legal grounds specified in Articles 5(2) and 6(2) of KVKK for the purposes stated above. Collection methods include:

  • Filling out forms, sending e-mails, phone communication, website visits, and contacting us via social media.

  • Sharing business cards at trade fairs, online sales platforms, and seminars, or through partner institutions or organizations.

f) Your Rights Under Article 11 of KVKK

According to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed,

  • Request information if your data has been processed,

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used appropriately,

  • Know third parties to whom your data has been transferred,

  • Request correction if your data is incomplete or incorrect,

  • Request deletion or destruction of your personal data,

  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests,

  • Demand compensation in case of damages due to unlawful processing.

You may submit your requests regarding these rights by completing the Relevant Person Application Form and sending it through the following channels:

  • By delivering in writing through a notary or via registered mail,

g) Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described. Once the purpose for processing is eliminated and legal retention periods expire, the data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with the relevant legislation.

h) Updates and Revisions

This clarification text has been prepared in line with KVKK and relevant regulations. It may be updated in accordance with legislative changes or revisions in our data processing purposes and policies.
